Are there any ongoing costs once my website is live?

The only ongoing cost is hosting and your domain.

Hosting with us is $29/mo. To keep your website live, your website has to be hosted somewhere on the internet. You can either host with us or we can get you live on the host of your choice. We recommend that you host with us as it makes website changes easy and guarantees that your website page load time is lightning fast.

Th only other ongoing cost is your domain. This is your website's address, for example, "ubloomdigital.com.au" is our domain. You purchase this through a domain registrar such as GoDaddy. This is typically a yearly cost and is usually very cheap at an average cost of around $20 a year. If you don't have a domain yet, we can help you get that set up.

How much does website hosting cost?

The cost of hosting is $29/mo when hosting with us. You are never locked into anything and can move hosts anytime. If you wish to host on another host from the start, we will get you set up on the host of your choice. We recommend that you host with us as it makes website changes easy and guarantees that your website page load time is lightning fast.

Do I even need a website?

It's a good question, and sometimes we have clients who struggle to see the importance of a good website. However to this day, we still see clients that were on the fence at first as to whether they needed a website, end up saying "why didn't we do this sooner" once it's up and running.

Here's the thing, when someone hears about or comes across your business, 99% of the time the first thing they do is go to Google and search you up. If you look old, outdated, or no where to be seen, that doesn't look good. It could be the difference between that person becoming a paying client, or them getting turned off and going to a competitor instead. On top of that, if someone is Googling the service you offer and you're not on page one, then they're definitely going to a competitor instead. It's our job to fix that for you.

We usually like to stay humble, but to answer this one, we have to become a tad braggadocios. Simply put, the proof is in the pudding. Do I have to write my own content?

No you don't! We have a highly experienced team of content writers who take care of all the website content writing for you. A lot of web design agencies out there will charge you thousands and still get you to write the content yourself... this is not how we approach things. We get that you have a business to run and the last thing you want to be doing is writing thousands of words of content. We find it just slows things down and puts an unnecessary burden on you. Plus, we're the experts for a reason!

Our process makes it as easy and hands off as you want it. Through a comprehensive strategy session and lots of questions, we get all the information we need to put together website content that represents your company and the services/products you offer perfectly. We then go through any tweaks, revisions, or changes you want made to the text until you are 100% happy with it all.

How long does a website take to build?

The timeline for your project depends on many factors such as size and complexity, as well as client feedback, so it's hard to give an exact amount of time that it will take to complete your build. However typically, your new website will be up and live within 2-3 months.

How much does web design cost?

This is a tricky question. Like building a house, there's a lot of things that go into it to, and without first learning about what it is you need in a website, it would be hard to give a price.

Our team will advise you on what investment is needed for the size of your business, your industry, your budget, and the results you're looking for. We make sure that you get a significant ROI on your website within the budget you have to work with.

Not to beat a dead horse but we just can't stress it enough, it always comes down to results. We want to make sure that the website pays itself back in a short amount of time and sees a great return for your company for years to come.

I'm a busy business owner, how much time do I need to invest into my website development?

A website may seem like a huge, insurmountable task that will suck hundreds of hours of your time, but this couldn't be further from the truth. Our streamlined process makes it easy and hands-free for you so you can focus on what you do best (running your business) and we can focus on what we do best (building awesome websites). We take care of everything from the strategy to the design, development, content writing, SEO optimisation, mobile optimisation, deployment, hosting and domain set up.

The amount of time we need from you is dependent on the size of the website, but typically after our initial call and once you've jumped on board with us we always require 1-2 hours for a strategy session. This is where we ask a bunch of questions about you and your business, get into the nitty gritty of the design and how you want it to look, and map out the plan.

From there we outlay what we need from you in terms of photos, information, and additional meetings if the scope of the website requires it. After that, we take care of the rest!

How do I update my website after it's built?

There are a few options here. If you have a blog page or projects, we can train you up on how to easily go into the backend and update these yourself. If you want major changes done to your site, you can either get us to update the content for you based on an hourly rate, or we can set it up so you can update the content yourself at an extra charge upon initial development of the website.
